Grant Tarrant
Grant Tarrant Financial Advisor

I made the transition into the financial advisor world after a lengthy tenure in another financial sector. I began my career in retail banking while I was still in college and progressed through multiple roles in my nearly 14-year career with the last 9 years spent in banking center management. While I enjoyed my time in the industry, I felt I was at a perfect point in my career to make the change.

I was raised in a household that was a diehard supporter of the University of Oklahoma. When I completed college visits, Stillwater, Oklahoma just felt more like home to me. I attended Oklahoma State University and received my bachelors in Finance with a minor in Accounting. When I began studying for my career as a financial advisor, I was reminded of how much I enjoyed learning and was very interested in the material.

For hobbies, I have found a lot of enjoyment in distance running. While many have told me they don’t even like to drive 13.1 miles, I have a great time running half marathons. I have completed half marathons in 6 U.S. states thus far and plan to continue to cross others off my list. I’ve found that it’s a great way for me to travel and see new places in the U.S. I also enjoy golfing (sometimes not greatly during the round) and being outdoors with my family.

I met my wife during my time in banking and we have two beautiful daughters and a precious son. Both my wife and I are Edmond natives and that is where we want to raise our family.

At Transcendent Capital Group, I will use my relationship building skills and genuine care for helping others to aid me in building the best plan possible for each client. I pride myself in remaining available to my clients and proactive in our discussions to help build long lasting relationships.
