As an associate at Transcendent Capital Group, I have a unique opportunity to try to make a positive difference in the financial wellbeing of the firm’s clients. I pride myself on attention to detail and working diligently so that each of our clients receives what I like to describe as “concierge level service.” I have a deeply held desire to make a positive impact in the financial wellbeing of the firm’s clients and their families. It’s also my hope to help individual investors develop leadership skills as it relates to the management of their income and assets.

It is a joy to be working alongside my dad, Darrell James, who’s career as a financial service professional spans nearly 40 years. While I was a student athlete, my dad served both as my coach and teacher. I am super excited to have my dad serving as my teacher and coach again; only this time, it’s over my career.

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. My professional background includes experience in the fields of health insurance, economics, and finance. I am passionate about my relationship with the Lord and about personal fitness. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. I’m also a diehard fan of the University of Oklahoma and never pass up an opportunity to cheer on my Sooners.
