I grew up locally in Edmond, Oklahoma, and attended college at Oklahoma State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. That’s where my interest in investments first began. While at OSU, I had the opportunity to run track and field and was awarded Academic All-Big 12 recognition. Those years were full of valuable lessons that continue to shape the way I approach my work today.
After college, I moved to Houston and began my career in the oil and gas industry. Over the course of five years, I worked in a variety of positions, including several roles on the trade floor. I enjoyed the fast-paced environment, and I was eventually trusted to coordinate large projects across global teams.
While I’m grateful for that season of life, I felt pulled toward a career that would be more personally fulfilling. What drew me to financial advising was the opportunity to work closely with individuals and families. I want to help people define their goals, make confident decisions, and feel peace and security about their financial future.
On a personal note, I’m lucky to be married to my best friend, Hunter. We share our home with a golden retriever and cat who thankfully tolerate each other...most of the time. My faith is the most important part of my life, and we’re grateful to be part of the community at Faith Bible Church in Edmond. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me out on a run, catching up with friends, or reading. C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien are two of my favorite authors, and their stories are ones I often revisit.
If we get the chance to work together, my goal is simple. I want to listen well, provide clarity, and walk with you every step of the way.
